Artist Statement: First graders were the artists for our piano. All of our first graders drew different cats to come up with many different options for our piano design. Several designs were chosen and transferred in a larger size onto our piano. Students helped prime the piano, and then were all part of the painting of the piano, working in small groups during their art class. We hope that you enjoy our Musical Cats!.
