Artist Statement: Bixby High School National Art Honor Society students and AP Studio Art students came up with this ocean & underwater themed piano. Students brainstormed & sketched their ideas for months before painting each area of the piano while others prepped the piano by sanding it down. Mrs. Jankowski encouraged students to complete the design & painting all on their own this year & students rose to the challenge! Their creativeness & artistic abilities always blow me away! We hope you will enjoy the Bixby High School Mayfest piano this year! It's always fun to participate!
