How to be a part of Play Me Tulsa

Donate Your Piano

Play Me Tulsa welcomes pianos in good condition as donations to the project. Play Me Tulsa is a project of Saied Music Company and is not an independent nonprofit entity. Therefore, no receipt for your donation can be provided. We can only accept upright pianos in fair to good condition. If you are interested in donating your piano please provide the following information and you will be contacted.

Host a Piano

Play Me Tulsa pianos will debut at Mayfest and then be placed in the Host Locations the following week. They will remain until the end of July at which time they will be picked up. A Host Location should be open to the public and be able to provide a contact to participate in group texts directing when to use the built in rain jacket to cover and uncover the pianos in the event of inclement weather. The host should also be willing to capture photos and video of people playing and engaging with the piano and post to social media channels, tagging Play Me Tulsa.

Paint a Piano

We are inviting school art departments/organizations to design and paint Play Me Tulsa pianos. Designs must meet Artistic Guidelines (link to guidelines below) and be approved by Play Me Tulsa. Paint and topcoat will be provided. Painting supplies are not provided. If you are interested in being invited to submit a design please provide the following information and you will be contacted. Pianos will be delivered to selected schools/organizations in January and must be completed by May 1st.
